Most of the drivers from the attached CD installed without any problems (though I was quite surprised that no newer versions were available on the Support wrbpage) but I can't install audio driver. Windows updates and device drivers are up-to-date. Re: G510 audio driver installation problem on Windows 8.1 I've just received my brand new Lenovo G510 and installed Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit onto it. There are minimal programs on startup no malicious installed software. I also have Avast Free installed which I run concurrently with Malwarebytes. I've run adwarecleaner, jrt, and installed Ccleaner. Now I'm having a heck of a time getting it to stop freezing and slowing down. I've worked on my neighbors laptop a few times before and never had an issue getting it back up to snuff. New to the forum here so if this belongs somewhere else please lmk
